Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment is unwanted sexual pressure that one person inflicts on another. This pressure is verbal, physical, or can be in the form of insulting posters and other visual materials. Women usually recognize a broader range of conduct as sexual harassment than do men. Power and status difference are almost always at the heart of sexual harassment. Harassers have a desire to exert control, humiliate and achieve and maintain dominance. A belief that women are inferior and should be kept in a submissive role is often part of the harasser's mentality.
